Mcdonald's is privately owned and its purpose is to earn money, so it has all its rights to adjust the prices. We consumers have choices and we can vote with our cash. On the other hand, I am really disappointed about the prices and qualify of our public transportation.
Of course the choice is in the hands of the consumers.
But when MacDonald tries to promote its image by organising various charity functions, would it be more beneficial to the public if it can adjust the price in line with the economic environment (so that children from poor families can sometimes afford its products) and do not exploit their employees so much (so that their hourly rate is not much lower than the set meals)?
